Founded in 1978, Webster University Geneva is an American-accredited private institution overlooking Lake Geneva and the Alps. The campus serves over five hundred students from ninety countries with faculty representing twenty-five nations, combining Swiss safety with access to Geneva's international organizations.
Undergraduate and graduate programs are taught entirely in English across business, management, information technology, sociology, humanities, and communication studies. Students may participate in exchanges through Webster's global campus network.
First-year students reside in furnished studios or two-bedroom rooms near Lake Léman with campus or lake views. Upper-level students may live in a renovated century-old residence at Les Berges du Rhône, minutes from shops and restaurants.
Facilities include fourteen classrooms, a library with extensive collections, computer and media laboratories, photography and recording studios, cafeteria, and lounge with games room and fitness center.
Student life features parties, conferences, ski trips, seminars, cultural celebrations, and dozens of clubs including football, basketball, chess, music, and psychology. Students may establish new clubs with association support.
Accreditations include Higher Learning Commission and ACBSP for business programs. Admission requires GPA 2.5 or above, English proficiency with IELTS 6.0+ or TOEFL 80+ for undergraduates, and minimum age eighteen.
Merit scholarships range from five thousand to seventeen thousand Swiss francs annually for students maintaining 3.5 GPA. Need-based aid covers twenty to fifty percent of tuition based on family circumstances.
