Categories: Summer Camps

The University of Sydney Summer School offers students aged thirteen to eighteen an immersive academic experience in Australia's oldest university. Participants study subjects at first-year undergraduate level through the Academic Insights program, learning from Oxford and Cambridge affiliated faculty. In 2023, ninety-seven percent of students completed their courses with excellent grades.

Classes are limited to ten students, providing personalized attention. The ten-day program includes thirty-five hours of instruction, interactive workshops, and individual consultations with Oxford educators. Students build academic portfolios and receive certificates with personalized teacher feedback.

Accommodation is in St Paul's College residences on campus. Students have single rooms with separate housing for boys and girls. Common areas include lounges for relaxation, study, and social activities. WiFi is available throughout. Meals are provided on campus or at city restaurants.

The daily schedule balances learning with activities. Mornings and afternoons feature academic sessions with breaks for meals and campus tours. Evenings include city walks, outdoor movies, quizzes, talent shows, and social events. Excursions explore Sydney Opera House, Bondi Beach, and Sydney Harbour. A formal graduation ceremony concludes the program.

Beyond academics, students learn about university admission requirements and expectations from admissions representatives. The summer school holds BAC accreditation, The Queen's Award for Enterprise, and British Youth Travel Awards recognition.

Tuition includes all instruction, accommodation, meals, full-day Sydney excursion, extracurricular activities, learning materials, campus facility access, and graduation certificate with teacher recommendations. Early booking discounts are available. Admission requires English proficiency at B2 level or above.
