Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) is a private university located in Suwon, South Korea. Established in 1398, it is one of the country’s oldest academic institutions. The university follows a semester-based academic system, although the exact dates of study periods differ depending on the faculty. SKKU offers bachelor’s programs taught in Korean as well as master’s degrees.
