Middlesex University Dubai opened in 2005 as the overseas campus of the London-based institution founded in 1878. Located in Dubai Knowledge Village, the university serves approximately 3,000 students from ninety countries, offering British-standard higher education. Accreditation from relevant bodies and consistent high rankings reflect institutional quality.

Programs include foundation courses, bachelor's degrees, and master's programs across multiple disciplines. Research and analytical thinking receive strong emphasis throughout the curriculum. Accommodation is provided in a centrally located residence with separate male and female sections. The academic year begins in September and January, with some programs starting in April. Admission requires secondary school certificate for foundation and undergraduate programs, plus successful foundation completion for bachelor's entry. Master's and MBA applicants need bachelor's degrees, undergraduate thesis, work experience for certain programs, recommendation letters, and personal essays. Minimum age is seventeen for undergraduate and twenty for postgraduate study.

Scholarships and grants are available through competitive process for students demonstrating strong academic performance and achievements.
