Mandarin House Language School is a well-known Chinese language center operating in two major cities—Shanghai and Beijing. Founded in 2004, Mandarin House is the only language school in China accredited by IALC and is also recognized by the Chinese National Council for teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Students aged 7–19 may stay with carefully selected host families in single rooms, receiving full board and weekday snacks between lessons. Accommodation prices start from approximately $320 per week for host family placement, $355 per week for shared apartments, and $590 per week for studio or private apartments, with seasonal supplements during summer.

Courses run year-round, with most programs starting every Monday and specific start dates for beginners throughout the year. Additional costs may include registration ($100), learning materials (from $30), school selection fee ($100), visa invitation ($100), courier delivery of documents ($100), and one-way airport transfer ($100).

Language learning is combined with an extensive activity program. Students participate daily in social events such as barbecues, concerts, performances, competitions, and discos, as well as sports in nearby gyms and clubs. Educational excursions are organized up to three times per week, with a full-day trip scheduled every Saturday.
