Inha University (인하대학교) is a private higher education institution in South Korea founded in 1954 at the initiative of the country’s first president, Syngman Rhee. The university has strong national recognition and is considered one of the twenty leading universities in South Korea. In global rankings it holds approximately the 605th position. One of its central missions is the preparation of specialists in information technology, and the university is internationally known for its research projects.

The institution enrolls more than 19,500 students and employs about 2,300 faculty members. Around 3% of the student population consists of international students. Academic studies follow a traditional semester system, and applicants seeking admission must submit documentation from their previous educational institution and pass entrance examinations.

The main campus is located in the city of Incheon. University facilities include a large student library, sports complex, athletic grounds, dining hall, and dormitory accommodation designed to provide comfortable living conditions for international students. In addition, the university participates in international academic cooperation and belongs to organizations such as the Global U8 Consortium and the OpenCourseWare Consortium.

Students may also take part in exchange programs that allow them to complete part of their education at partner institutions abroad. Scholarship opportunities are available for eligible students.

The cost of study at Inha University is about USD 7,000 per year for bachelor’s programs, while master’s degree programs are more expensive, averaging approximately USD 9,000 per year.
