Dubai Summer School

Countries: UAE
Categories: Summer Camps

Founded in 2013, this international summer camp welcomes students aged seven to seventeen from dozens of countries, creating a multicultural environment where English is the primary language of communication. The program accommodates over 300 students in a unique boarding experience combining language learning with wellness education.

The camp stands as the Middle East's only full-board wellness and fitness boarding program for boys and girls. Students attend four morning workshops daily focusing on nutrition, fitness, health, and lifestyle management. Professional trainers design individualized exercise regimens targeting endurance, fitness, and overall wellbeing.

Accommodation is provided in modern residences with twin rooms featuring private showers and refrigerators. Common facilities include laundries, restaurants, kitchens, game rooms, lounges, and fitness centers. Full-board dining offers three daily meals in the campus restaurant. Edu-Wardens, known as "Third Parents," provide 24-hour supervision and support, monitoring academic progress, wellbeing, and daily routines.

Weekend excursions explore Dubai and UAE attractions including museums and public spaces. Evening activities feature poetry battles, talent shows, science exhibitions, board games, sports competitions, swimming, horse riding, painting, music, singing, and technology clubs.

The program takes a comprehensive approach to student wellbeing, addressing physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and environmental health. Sports facilities include indoor and outdoor pools, air-conditioned indoor stadium, four fitness centers, ballet and yoga studios, squash courts, two clay tennis courts, full-size football pitch, Olympic-standard running track, basketball and beach volleyball courts, table tennis, and spa with jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. A medical staff member provides first aid and health consultations.

The camp operates throughout summer in two-week sessions. Families may choose one or multiple consecutive sessions. Fees include tuition, accommodation, meals with standard or dietary options, weekly activities, excursions, laundry services, and administrative fees. Sibling discounts apply: five percent for second child, ten percent for third and fourth, fifteen percent for fifth and subsequent children.

Admission requires completed application form indicating preferred subjects and passport copy. Students are grouped by age and English proficiency upon arrival.
