Daegu International School (DIS) is a private educational institution in Daegu, South Korea, established in 2010. The school teaches in English and offers programs for students aged 6–17, including primary and middle school as well as diploma and Advanced Placement courses. Education is organized in a blended format, and students may study either as day students or in full-boarding residence accommodation.

The school follows the American education model and emphasizes global issues within its curriculum. Teaching is provided by an international faculty from the United States and Europe, and about 70% of instructors hold master’s or doctoral degrees. The student body includes 305 learners representing 14 countries: approximately 78% are Korean, 12% international students, and 10% Americans. The student–teacher ratio is 15:1. DIS offers 12 Advanced Placement courses and the AP Capstone program. Through a partnership with Lee Academy, graduates receive two secondary school diplomas—one from DIS and one from Lee Academy. The institution is licensed by the Korean Ministry of Education and the U.S. Department of Education and is accredited by organizations including Lee Academy and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

The academic program and extracurricular activities are designed to prepare students for university studies. All graduates have been admitted to leading institutions such as Brown University, Columbia University, Dartmouth College, New York University, the University of Pennsylvania, Waseda University, Ewha Womans University, the University of Oxford, and the University of Edinburgh.

Students have access to modern facilities including 40 technology-equipped classrooms, computer and science laboratories, a film studio, two libraries, art and dance studios, a music school, a gym, sports fields, tennis courts, and basketball courts. The campus residence is a five-story building with 60 rooms, recreation areas, kitchens, and a fitness center.

The academic year consists of two semesters: August–December and January–May. Additional fees may include an application fee (250,000₩), enrollment fee (3,000,000₩), meals (about 900,000₩), school bus service (2,400,000₩), boarding with meals for grades 3–5 (8,200,000₩), and a Grade 12 alumni contribution of 500,000₩. Admission decisions are based on academic results, entrance tests, recommendations, and personal qualities.
