Founded in 1910, Beau Soleil is a prestigious private boarding school in Villars-sur-Ollon, a Swiss Alpine resort. The school serves approximately three hundred students aged eleven to eighteen from over fifty-five countries, creating a truly international community.
Instruction is bilingual in English and French across Middle School (grades 6-10) and High School (grades 11-12). Students may pursue the International Baccalaureate or ASDP diploma. The academic year comprises autumn, spring, and summer terms. School days run 8:30 to 16:15 Monday through Friday, followed by activities and self-study. Bedtimes range from 21:00 to 22:00 by age group.
Admission requires online application, documents, previous school recommendations, campus interview, and English and mathematics testing. Applications are best submitted September through December for the following academic year, as spaces are strictly limited to three hundred students.
